Christoph Kempter

Christoph Kempter guides and “moves” companies and people through strategy, succession and change processes. With many years of operational and strategic leadership behind him, he knows the challenges facing mid-sized companies first-hand. He grasps complex situations quickly, sees how things connect and takes a pragmatic approach where improvements make a real difference.

Particularly in demanding situations – crisis management after a major incident, during COVID or in interim mandates – he stabilised companies as a reliable partner. He was responsible for acquisitions from due diligence through to integration, for successions through to the sale of a company, for positioning and internationalising brands, and for building new organisational and leadership structures.

Today he brings this experience to bear as a senior expert in executive search, board searches and succession, as well as in several board of directors mandates. He supports Swiss SMEs with strategic questions, successions, realignments and filling key positions.

He holds a degree in agricultural engineering (Dipl. Ing. Agr.) from ETH Zurich, specialising in agricultural and business economics, and completed further training for board members at the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
