Irene Wosgien

Irene Wosgien (MSc ChemEng, MSc EHS) is an experienced C-level executive with many years’ experience as a COO and extensive operational responsibility in the CDMO, chemicals and nutrition sectors. She also has experience as a CHRO and combines operational excellence with strong expertise in human capital management.

It supports industrial companies in transformation and growth projects – from analysis through to design and implementation – thereby laying the foundations for sustainable performance improvement and strategic differentiation. Its particular strength lies in designing robust value chains and implementing strategic organisational initiatives.

As a pragmatic, hands-on leader, she has extensive experience in leading multi-site organisations. She combines analytical strength and conceptual thinking with realistic foresight, takes an appreciative approach to corporate cultures and successfully guides organisations through challenging change processes. She is known for delivering measurable results, a high sense of responsibility and a consistently solution-oriented approach.

In addition to her background in engineering, she completed a Master of Science in Environment, Health and Safety Management, as well as the International Senior Management Programme at the University of St Gallen, the INSEAD Executive Education Programme ‘Manufacturing in a Global Environment’ and the IMD programme ‘Mastering Board Governance’.
