Why do most transformations fail?

But rather because nobody takes responsibility. In many companies, the following happens: And then what? Not much happens…

But rather because nobody is taking responsibility.

In many companies, the following happens:

  • Consultants are being engaged
  • Concepts developed
  • Presentations given

And what next?

It happens… rarely.

The reason is simple:

Transformation is not a thought process.

‘Transformation’ means implementation.

And that is precisely where the problems arise:

  • lack of leadership
  • unclear responsibilities
  • insufficient operational experience

Successful transformations do not need better slides.

You need people who:

  • Making decisions
  • Taking responsibility
  • Putting things into practice

That is exactly what I will be writing about over the next few weeks.
